Who is 672?
My real name is Jessica.
I see the number combination of 2, 6, and 7 everywhere. I see it in phone numbers, receipts, license plates, books, online, music, receipts, and even the color I've chosen for my name above! It's everywhere so I honor it.
I went with 672 because it rolls off the tongue nicely.
I'm terrible at math.
I am an artist. I make bright, colorful abstract art. I love color and I love rainbows. I used to make dark, edgy, goth girl art but I got sick of it because it looked like everyone else's art.
I call it CARTOON ABSTRACT.
I hope you like my work.

About Me
My name is Jessica Hughes. I am an artist, writer, and art educator in Connecticut and New York. I have been making art since I could hold a crayon. My favorite color is purple, but I rarely use it because it doesn't look good in my art.
My work has been exhibited in New York, NYC, Massachusetts (Boston, Salem, Lynn, Beverly), Vermont (Morrisville), and Connecticut (Greenwich, Hartford, Norwalk, New Canaan, Wilton, Westport, Bridgeport, etc.).
I began my art school journey at Montserrat College of Art, where I wanted to become an illustrator. I was not good at illustration. I dropped that major and fell in love with Fine Art and Art Education.
I teach art in Connecticut.
